Who says peel posi/ negative film is dead?

I did some shooting in the studio/ garage this weekend with the 4×5 and some Fuji 100 peel film. Vince Musi turned me on to the process of shooting Fuji 100c45 and pulling negatives after processing the positives. I’ve been messing with the film and trying to perfect a process of salvaging the negs that is really imperfectable (is that even a word?) but I’m getting a little more confident. I’m also digging the imperfections from the development chemicals.

Here’s 2 images I shot of my daughter Emily and her best friend Elizabeth. Both were shot under continuous light.

  1. These look great Bob. Funny thing now is that everybody tries to achieve this hippstomatic look through post processing all the while they probably don’t realize where the look originated from. Great post!
